Quick release: This has to do with when you let the pressure out of your instant pot. A quick release means that you take action by switching the lock over and allowing the pressure to escape. This means you let the instant pot slowly release all of the pressure on its own. You don’t have to do anything! If the pressure lever is all the way down, it’s done and safe to open the pot!
